From what I have heard this is a good source of information for anyone looking for information of Persuasion Skills. This book is not for everyone as it doesn't fit everybody's style, but good value for money for those seeking skills in the area of persuasion.

What's sad is that speaking plainly and pointing out critical flaws in different systems, like family units, financial situations, and businesses (the way Winget does) is seen as being entertainingly rude at best and nasty at worst. It should be the norm.

Very interesting interview. I can see how Larry has some immitators though - because sometimes we fail to see what is right in front of us as far as identifying what it is that is unique about ourselves. I think that eventually a lot of people just get to the stage where they say "oh to hell with it, if they don't like me as I am then that's their problem" - but some people take longer to get there than others. Thre are a lot of assumptions made that you have to be and act in a certain way - particularly in the public speaking arena - until you realise that in fact it's what makes you different that is actually what you should be exploiting. I have always felt quite uncomfortable with that. So it's refreshing to know, that that's OKAY

Great article. I loved Peter's overall philosophy. I particularly liked the #1 book marketing strategy. Too many people create crappy books and then market the heck out of them. Although having a good book is not enough, hopefully it should be the bare minimum for having a best seller.

Oh, and Peter, thanks for the plug of my Goal-Free Living book.

I am working on the manuscript to my next book...and I am sure your words will be ringing in my head as I put the finishing touches on it.

Thanks!
