Very interesting interview. I can see how Larry has some immitators though – because sometimes we fail to see what is right in front of us as far as identifying what it is that is unique about ourselves. I think that eventually a lot of people just get to the stage where they say “oh to hell with it, if they don’t like me as I am then that’s their problem” – but some people take longer to get there than others. Thre are a lot of assumptions made that you have to be and act in a certain way – particularly in the public speaking arena – until you realise that in fact it’s what makes you different that is actually what you should be exploiting. I have always felt quite uncomfortable with that. So it’s refreshing to know, that that’s OKAY

What’s sad is that speaking plainly and pointing out critical flaws in different systems, like family units, financial situations, and businesses (the way Winget does) is seen as being entertainingly rude at best and nasty at worst. It should be the norm.
